Tatjana Muravska is Professor of Regional and European integration studies at the University of Latvia (UL). Since beginning of 1990s she has been involved in the process of designing and teaching courses in European Studies at the UL; visiting professor in partner universities in Europe, Canada and India. Fellowships have been held in a number of academic institutions in the EU and Canada. Since 2000 she is Director of the Centre for European and Transition Studies, European Studies master`s programme, Doctoral School for European Integration and Baltic Sea Region Studies, academic coordinator of Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and Jean Monnet Chair ad personam at the UL; President of Latvian European Community Studies Association. She has been involved in EU, World Bank, UNDP, CIDA research projects. Her research and publications have covered social and economic issues in the EU12 including structural reforms and implementation of the EU Structural and Cohesion Funds
